Birchbox August 2013
I got my VERY first Birchbox this month! This months theme was "Finishing School". I'm not going to lie, I was kind of disappointed. I guess I built it up too much, because when I got it I was expecting a lot more. I'm getting a My Glam box as well as another Birchbox next month, so we'll see which one I'm going to stay with!
Okay, here we go:
The first thing I grabbed out of my box was a Color Club nail polish. The color is Reign is Spain and it's from the Wanderlust Collection! I really like the color, it's sort of like a neon peachy color. It's a good size, I wouldn't say its a sample size, it's more like a mini. The full size is $8.
The second thing I grabbed was a uniqONE hair treatment! It's a 10 in one hair treatment. It's kind of small, I feel like you would get 10 good squirts out of it, maybe, then it's done. It smells really good! You leave it in your hair after you take a shower. The full size bottle is $17.99.
Next thing was Jasmine Seven Fresh Feet Wipes. I don't really know how I feel about these because I don't really wipe my feet to clean them, I clean them when I'm in the shower with body wash so I didn't really get any use out of these. Although, they do have a good smell to them, it's a pepperminty smell. I got 2, and they originally come with 3 packs of 10 wipes for $9.95.
These next 2 things were the last things I pulled out of my box and they were the biggest disappointments because they were so tiny! You can probably only get one use out of both of them. One is a Coola SPF 45 sport-Mango. It's an organic sunscreen. The full size is $32 dollars. The other thing was a Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Cream SPF 45+. I'm not really a big fan of BB creams in the first place. But this looks like a free sample that they just hand out. It is so small! You really would get just one use out of it then have to throw it away. The full size is $39.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
